Hello to all the mac n cheese lovers and enthusiasts! I’m thrilled to welcome you to my blog, “Mac n Cheese Rendezvous.”
**About Me**
My name is Reggie, and my passion for mac n cheese inspired me to start this blog. I’m eager to share that love with all of you.
Originally from Eastern North Carolina, I joined the Navy in 2001 right after high school. Over my 23+ years of service as a Submarine Radioman, I’ve completed four deployments and had the opportunity to visit several countries in Europe and Central America. I’ve been happily married to my wonderful wife for 16 years, and we have a 25-year-old daughter and a 22-year-old son. Recently, I’ve been blessed to become a grandfather!
While I can’t pinpoint exactly when my love for mac n cheese began, I can confidently say it has become my favorite side dish over the years. In this blog, I’ll embark on a journey to discover the best mac n cheese in the Hampton Roads area and eventually across the United States. I invite you to join me as I rate different mac n cheese dishes and share my honest, personal opinions on this beloved comfort food. The five categories that I will be using to rate are Cheesiness, Creaminess, Presentation, Consistency and Value.
Additionally, I’ll be sharing a variety of recipes, including options for vegan, gluten-free, and plant-based enthusiasts. I want everyone to experience the joy that mac n cheese brings!
